College of Education
Together, we’re opening doors to a more equitable, educated, and healthy future

At the College of Education (COE), we are proud to have a 113-year legacy of producing exceptional professionals in K-12 education, applied research, and clinical services. Our students collaborate and share ideas freely in the classroom and in the HEDCO Clinic. Through evidence-based training and clinical experiences with faculty who excel in their fields of study, COE students are committed to expanding important research in areas like brain injury, concussion recovery, early childhood education, and early autism diagnosis. Our curriculum instruction programs are dedicated to designing and implementing K-12 classroom excellence while putting equity and engagement at the center of teacher preparation.

When you give to the College of Education, you are ensuring the next educators, clinicians, and leaders are empowered to reach their full potential. Together, we are building a world where education is accessible, care is innovative, and academic potential knows no bounds.

This year, the COE is reducing barriers to accessing education, clinical care, and leadership excellence by:

  • Reducing financial burden for future educators, like Indigenous educators enrolled in the Sapsik’ʷałá Teacher Education Program.
  • Training over 120 students a year to deliver student, family, and couples counseling, improve adolescent mental health, and provide transformative outcomes for our campus and community.
  • Developing the next generation of educational leaders, equipped to provide data-driven, equitable outcomes for students and education systems through our new Administrator Licensure Program.

With the incredible support of our challenge gift donors, and your help, we can unlock over $120,000 in support for the College of Education’s students, faculty, and the greater community. Your gift to the College of Education will have a lasting impact on generations to come.

You can help us reach our goal of 130 donors by making a gift of $5 or more in support of #DucksGive, and by inviting your friends and family to make a gift. Thank you for your generosity!
