This year’s Festival invites you on a musical expedition unlike any you’ve experienced! Filled with moments of extraordinary explorations – from alpine mountain tops, to iconic holy pilgrimages, to the incredible power of the sea – each concert brings a spark to awaken the Musical Wanderlust inside us all.
During our 2023 voyage, OBF commemorates the 25th Anniversary of two pivotal moments in Festival history. The Stangeland Family Youth Choral Academy (SFYCA) presents its milestone performance, conducted by founding program director Anton Armstrong and joined by more than two decades of SFYCA alumni. The celebration continues with the “silver” anniversary performance of the Penderecki Credo – the Festival commission that won a Grammy Award for OBF. What better way to honor our founders than by supporting the programs closest to their hearts?
