Helping Students Become Practice Ready
Make a gift today to support law students engaged in experiential learning through our legal clinics. Our clinics provide students with:
- essential hands-on learning experiences by helping people in the community who cannot afford legal assistance;
- opportunities to apply legal principles learned in the classroom to real-life problems; and
- an understanding of the impact their work has on the lives of others.
Through their work in eight clinics of diverse practice areas, law students work to:
- Help victims of domestic violence regain control over their lives and ensure their safety;
- Protect the rights of people who are accused of a crime and cannot afford an attorney;
- Assist local entrepreneurs in realizing their dreams of starting a small business;
- Strengthen the operations and practices of community-based nonprofit organizations; and
- Work on active and developing litigation in land conservation, wildlife, and energy.
