What is #DucksGive?
#DucksGive 2018 is the University of Oregon's third annual giving day. This 24-hour campaign is a university-wide effort to inspire alumni, parents, and friends of the UO to make a gift to any area of campus. It's an opportunity to directly support a student education.
Please join us and give to a University of Oregon fund you're passionate about on #DucksGive, May 17, 2018.
Why should I participate in #DucksGive?
State funding makes up less than 10% of the UO's entire budget, so gifts from Duck Alumni and friends are more important than ever in ensuring our students receive a quality education. Giving supports scholarships, research, faculty support, programming, student experiences, and so much more. Ducks have been giving back since the University of Oregon was founded in 1876, but gifts are needed now more than ever.
#DucksGive is an opportunity for you to combine your gift with the gifts of thousands of other Ducks to make a huge difference on UO students. Give during #DucksGive on May 17, 2018.

You can make your donation online by clicking "Give Now" on our main webpage. If you prefer to make your gift through other means, please contact us for more details.

Where should I give?
There is no wrong place to give! If you aren’t sure of a specific area to give, the President’s Success Fund provides for the highest priority areas on campus. Those donations will go towards supporting President Schill’s goals for the UO!
I understand that many companies will match my gift to the University of Oregon. How can I find out if my employer will match my gift, and how do I go about it?
Look to see if your employer is listed here, or visit your human resources department to see if your employer offers a matching gift program. If so, simply complete and sign the form provided by your company and mail it to:

Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! Your donation made on #DucksGive is 100% tax deductible. The University of Oregon Foundation's tax ID number is 93-6015767. All donations will receive a tax receipt from the UO Foundation within 7-10 business days.
*For gifts to UO Athletics, tax receipts will be issued at the end of the calendar year.
What is a challenge gift?
These are gifts that have been pledged by generous donors. Each will be released to the University once its goal is met. The goals are either based on the number of gifts we receive or the amount of dollars we raise, so every gift counts. Learn more about this year's list of challenges on the Challenge Event page.

Where should I give?

Can I give to more than one area?
Yes! Please select "Add another gift to your donation" on the gift menu to select additional areas to support. Your card will only be charged once for the sum of your donations.
What if the fund I would like to support is not listed?
If you do not see the fund that you would like to donate to, please select the department you wish to support, and then select "Other" under the Fund Designation drop-down menu. A new field will appear immediately below where you will need to type the fund you wish to give to.
