11,000 students. 46 major fields of study. In nearly 50 buildings across campus. The College of Arts and Sciences is the University of Oregon’s intellectual hub, offering classes in everything from Latin American history to zebrafish genetics. Our programs are the building blocks of a UO education. To help students navigate their way through the amazing range of options, they need tutors, career services, study rooms, advisors. In short, they need a single go-to place for expert guidance.
Today, a generous donor is challenging you to support the College of Arts and Sciences. Be one of 200 people to make a gift to any program, department, or scholarship within CAS and the Tykeson Hall Advising Fund will receive $30,000 from Jeff Hansen '91 plus a match from his employer – that’s $60,000 to support academic advising in the new Colleges and Careers building! Help us reach our 200 donor goal – make your gift now!
When we set out to start the #DucksGive tradition, we never imagined how far it would go. But you made it huge. We're still tabulating final numbers, but our current numbers say 1502 donors and $1,824,400.
We'll be taking a look at the breakdown in the coming hours to find out the true extent of the amazing impact this money will have, but first, we just want to say thank you.
Whether you made a gift, shared a post, or mentioned the campaign to a friend, you were part of #DucksGive, and we couldn't have done it without you.
So thank you. When Ducks work together, we can do so much more than we ever could alone.
Sincerely,
The University of Oregon
P.S. If you missed your chance to make a gift during #DucksGive, you can still give online at giving.uoregon.edu.
