Intercollegiate Athletics

Excellence. You see it in our world-class facilities, our passionate fans, our nationally recognized brand, and our commitment to the 'student' in student athlete. Almost 500 student athletes in 18 sports receive 238 full scholarships, providing them the opportunity to become champions on the field, in the classroom, and in the community. Through the O Heroes program, student athletes devote over 2,000 hours a year to volunteering at home and abroad. They've earned 30 Academic All-American awards in the last five years and 11 national championships in the last six, and they've done it all while maintaining an 80% graduation success rate.

Oregon Athletics is one of the handful of Division I programs in the country that does not receive direct institutional support. Gifts to the Duck Athletics Fund will support student athletes in their pursuit of excellence on the field and in the classroom. Our goal is to receive 100 gifts today to continue providing a world-class experience for UO student athletes. Once we receive 100 new gifts to the Duck Athletic Fund, a gift of $100,000 will be unlocked. Thank you for making your gift now!

WOW.
May 20, 2016

When we set out to start the #DucksGive tradition, we never imagined how far it would go. But you made it huge. We're still tabulating final numbers, but our current numbers say 1502 donors and $1,824,400.

We'll be taking a look at the breakdown in the coming hours to find out the true extent of the amazing impact this money will have, but first, we just want to say thank you.

Whether you made a gift, shared a post, or mentioned the campaign to a friend, you were part of #DucksGive, and we couldn't have done it without you.

So thank you. When Ducks work together, we can do so much more than we ever could alone.

Sincerely,

The University of Oregon

P.S. If you missed your chance to make a gift during #DucksGive, you can still give online at giving.uoregon.edu.
