What is #DucksGive?
#DucksGive is the University of Oregon's first-ever giving day. This 36-hour campaign is a university-wide effort to inspire alumni, parents, and friends of the UO to make a gift to any area of campus.
Running from midnight on May 19 through noon on May 20, #DucksGive is an opportunity to directly support a student education. Make your gift now!
Why should I participate in #DucksGive?
With state funding making up just 6% of the UO's entire budget, private gifts are more important than ever in ensuring our students receive a quality education. Private gifts support scholarships, research, faculty support, programming, student experiences, and so much more. Ducks have been giving back since the school was founded in 1876, but gifts are needed now more than ever. Any gift of any size makes a direct impact.
Where should I give?
There is no wrong place to give! If you aren’t sure of a specific area to give, the President’s Gift Fund provides for the highest priority areas on campus. Those donations will go towards supporting President Schill’s goals for the UO!
How can I make a donation to #DucksGive?
You can make your donation online by clicking "Give Now" on our main webpage. If you prefer to make your gift through other means, please contact us for more details.

Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes! Your donation made on #DucksGive is 100% tax deductible. Our tax ID number is 46-4727800. All donations will receive a tax receipt from the University of Oregon Foundation within 7-10 business days.
What is a challenge gift?
These are gifts that have been pledged by generous donors, but they are only unlocked for the University if we pass the test! Our challenge goals are based on the number of gifts we receive, so every gift counts. Learn more about each specific challenge by clicking here!

Where should I give?

Can I give to more than one area?
Yes! Please select "Add another gift to your donation" on the gift menu to select additional areas to support. Your card will only be charged once for the sum of your donations.
What if the fund I would like to support is not listed?
If you do not see the fund school, organization, program or scholarship that you would like to donate to, please select "Other" under the Designation drop-down menu. Then scroll down to the comments section and type in details about where you would like your donation to go.
