Making educational and social systems work for all -- that is our core mission in the College of Education. Through research, outreach, and skill development for the next generation of educators, we are on the cutting edge of finding solutions for critical social and educational problems.
Today, we have an opportunity to further that mission. An anonymous donor has given $150,000 to support COE student scholarships and to fund a professorship for teacher education. This gift is a challenge to our entire community to find 75 donors by noon on Friday. Make your gift to the College of Education today and help us meet this challenge!
We may not have reached 150 donors, but our generous donors David and Kathryn Bussman made their $50,000 gift to support College of Education scholarships! Thank you to all 95 who made a gift to COE today!
When we set out to start the #DucksGive tradition, we never imagined how far it would go. But you made it huge. We're still tabulating final numbers, but our current numbers say 1502 donors and $1,824,400.
We'll be taking a look at the breakdown in the coming hours to find out the true extent of the amazing impact this money will have, but first, we just want to say thank you.
Whether you made a gift, shared a post, or mentioned the campaign to a friend, you were part of #DucksGive, and we couldn't have done it without you.
So thank you. When Ducks work together, we can do so much more than we ever could alone.
Sincerely,
The University of Oregon
