Artifacts, fossils, and rocks, oh my! The Museum of Natural and Cultural History is home to hundreds of thousands of cultural, biological, and paleontological objects from the Pacific Northwest and around the world. A center of interdisciplinary research and education, the MNCH serves the University of Oregon, the international scientific community, Oregon’s Tribal communities, and families, students, and educators across the state.
The museum’s mission is to enhance knowledge of Earth’s environment and cultures, inspiring stewardship of our collective past, present, and future. You can support this mission by making a gift today, becoming one of 50 donors who will help us reach our goal. Once we reach that goal, an anonymous donor will give $50,000 to the museum’s Patricia Krier Education Endowment, which supports innovative educational programs for underserved youth, families, and communities.
When we set out to start the #DucksGive tradition, we never imagined how far it would go. But you made it huge. We're still tabulating final numbers, but our current numbers say 1502 donors and $1,824,400.
We'll be taking a look at the breakdown in the coming hours to find out the true extent of the amazing impact this money will have, but first, we just want to say thank you.
Whether you made a gift, shared a post, or mentioned the campaign to a friend, you were part of #DucksGive, and we couldn't have done it without you.
So thank you. When Ducks work together, we can do so much more than we ever could alone.
Sincerely,
The University of Oregon
P.S. If you missed your chance to make a gift during #DucksGive, you can still give online at giving.uoregon.edu.
We're down to 4 hours and 5 challenges still open. Can we beat them all?
