“This is our moment. We must work together in common cause to make this university as great as it can be.”
-President Michael H. Schill
#DucksGive is a day to rally the entire university community around President Schill's top priorities to enhance the UO’s reputation as a world-class university:
Support the President's Success Fund, President Schill's discretionary fund which goes to the area of greatest need, which enables The University of Oregon to excel. Whether it is ensuring that our students are working on state of the art equipment, new initiatives receive funding or we are able to recruit and hire the best research-active faculty providing a unique educational experience to our students – donations to the President’s Success Fund make it all possible. Your gift to the President’s Success Fund will support all of President Schill’s top priorities, making the University of Oregon a better place to be a Duck!
To ensure affordability and access, make a gift to Pathway Oregon Scholarship Fund, a scholarship program that covers the remaining cost of tuition for Pell-eligible Oregonians who graduate high school with a 3.0 GPA or better. Pathway is more than just a scholarship. It's a promise to our in-state students that if you work hard, you can attend Oregon's flagship university, and we will help you succeed. Learn more here.
Give to the Black Cultural Center Fund:
"I would like to announce my commitment to build a new Black cultural center at the UO. African American students need a place that will provide them with an opportunity to gather, reinforce their academic pursuits, enhance connective bonds that support recruitment and retention, and discuss their shared experiences and needs. We will work with our students to plan a structure that will provide them with a place of respite with programming that will promote their success." -President Schill
The Black Alumni Network has generously pledged an additional challenge gift of $10,000 if we reach our goal of 50 gifts to the Black Cultural Center Fund.
