Museum of Natural and Cultural History
Join the MAMMOTH AT THE MUSEUM Challenge and help unlock $25,000 for an amazing campus installation

The Museum of Natural and Cultural History houses the largest fossil collection in the state, including dozens of specimens of Oregon’s largest-ever land mammal—the mighty mammoth. Extinct for more than 10,000 years, these iconic Ice Age beasts captivate people of every age. From bones in our collections to ancient footprints in the field, museum scientists continue to dig deep into the story of the mammoths and their fate.

Your gift will help us share this unfolding story with visitors from around Oregon and around the world. With your support, the museum will commission a life-size mammoth sculpture that will welcome people to the museum and its world-class natural history exhibits.

We can’t think of a more fitting ambassador.
