Update: Black Cultural Center Surprise Stretch Challenge
An anonymous donor was so inspired by the support of the UO Black Alumni Network/Black Cultural Center Challenge they decided to pledge an additional $1,000 toward a stretch challenge. When we receive an additional 25 gifts (75 total), the $1,000 pledge will be added to the total. Make a gift to the Black Cultural Center and unlock another $1,000 now!
The first five UO graduates formed the UO Alumni Association in 1879 with a vested interest in the long-term well-being of the UO, advocating for its alma mater, and quickly becoming the voice of the alumni community to the UO. They were passionate about the UO because the education they received changed their lives. This passion attracted community leaders, legislators, and others to become friends and supporters of the UO. The alumni community made the UO stronger, and, developed an organization that ensured that the alumni community could support its alma mater for years to come.
The UOAA now counts more than 27,000 alumni and students as members in its ranks. These dues-paying members are the passionate Ducks in an alumni community of more than 231,000 who proudly express their pride, love, and affection for the UO by supporting the university’s priorities.
In the spirit of #DucksGive, we invite you to join or renew your UOAA membership. Members receive an amazing array of benefits, including alumni connections, career and education resources, campus access, Duck Fan Central athletic benefits, Duck travel discounts, and other rewards.
