At the UO Office of International Affairs we believe that inclusion, equity, curiosity about the world, and global engagement are core values to our university’s academic excellence.
The UO is home to more than 3,000 international students from 90 countries worldwide. Our International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) provides key support services and programs to all our international students and faculty—no matter their origin.
Our study abroad office, Global Education Oregon (GEO) connects more than 1,200 students to 200 study, research and internship opportunities abroad each year.
Our more than 250 international faculty support the research and international mission of the UO in all areas of research, including architecture, business, education, journalism, linguistics, human physiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, and physics.
