Connect to Oregon’s Diverse Stories
Stories have power—the power to shape our understanding of ourselves and our world. They invite us to reflect, challenge us to learn, and inspire us to act. Above all, stories help us connect: Through our shared stories we create vital links within and across our diverse communities.
Since our founding, we’ve been digging into Oregon stories—conducting research and creating exhibits in collaboration with Native American Tribes to enhance public knowledge of the state’s deep history. In 2019 we expanded that tried-and-true, collaborative research approach to codevelop Racing to Change, an award-winning civil rights exhibit, in partnership with Oregon Black Pioneers and leaders from across Lane County’s Black communities.
With your support, we can go further. Your Ducks Give contribution will help us develop online resources that offer the public an even more inclusive Oregon story—ranging from Chinese immigrant experiences during the 19th century to diverse heritage arts practiced around the state today.
Make your gift now. Be one of 100 donors who help unlock $7,000 in challenge gifts. Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help us inspire greater connection across a more inclusive Oregon history. Thank you for being a part of it.
