Below you will find answers to many common questions about Ducks Give 2021.
What is Ducks Give ?
Ducks Give 2021 is the University of Oregon's sixth annual giving day. This 24-hour campaign is a university-wide effort to inspire alumni, parents, and friends of the UO to give to an area of campus they're passionate about. It's an opportunity to directly support students and the University of Oregon. Please support Ducks and give on May 13, 2021.
Why should I participate in Ducks Give?
State funding makes up less than 10% of the UO's entire budget, so gifts are more important than ever in ensuring students receive a quality education. Giving supports scholarships, research, faculty support, programming, student experiences, and so much more. Ducks Give allows you to combine your gift with the gifts of thousands of other Ducks, and unlock challenge gifts, to make a huge impact on UO students.
How can I give during Ducks Give?
You can make your donation online by clicking "Give Now" on our main webpage on May 13th. If you'd prefer to make your gift through other means, please contact us for more options.

Can I give to more than one area?
Absolutely! Please select "Add another gift to your donation" on the gift menu to select additional areas to support. Your card will only be charged once for the sum of your donations.
Is my gift tax deductible?
Your Ducks Give gift may be tax deductible--see your tax professional for details. The University of Oregon Foundation's tax ID number is 93-6015767. Ducks Give donors will receive a tax receipt, which is typically mailed from the UO Foundation within 7-10 business days.
*For gifts to UO Athletics, tax receipts will be issued at the end of the calendar year.
What is a challenge gift?
These are gifts that have been pledged by generous donors. Each will be released to support a specific UO fund once its goal is met. The goals are typically based on the number of gifts we receive or the amount of dollars we raise, so every gift counts. What if the fund I would like to support is not listed?
If you do not see the fund that you would like to support, please select the appropriate department, and then select "Other" under the Fund Designation drop-down menu. A new field will appear immediately below where you can then type in whichever fund you wish to support.
I understand that many companies will match my gift to the University of Oregon. How can I find out if my employer will match my gift, and how do I go about it?
You can look to see if your employer is listed here, or contact your human resources department to see if your employer offers a matching gift program. If so, simply complete and sign the form provided by your company and mail it to:

When will my card be charged?
Your credit or debit card will be charged immediately once your gift is finalized.
Why are there images of students without masks or social distancing?
