Help All SOJC Students Launch Successful Careers

Real-world professional experience is the key to unlocking a stellar career.

College internships often lead to coveted job offers and higher starting salaries. And they’re more important than ever in today’s tight job market.

Unfortunately, not all students can afford to take these crucial on-the-job experiences. Many have severe financial need and have to pay for tuition, rent, and food out of their own pockets.

When students have no choice but to pass on professional internships, they have a much harder time breaking into the field. And that perpetuates an inequitable system that puts students from lower-income backgrounds at a disadvantage.

Donate to the SOJC Internship Support Fund

We created the SOJC Internship Support Fund to level the playing field and help more students get hands-on professional experience outside the classroom.

The fund will provide stipends of up to $2,000 to SOJC students who need additional financial assistance to pursue a professional internship.

When you give to the SOJC Internship Support Fund, you’ll be helping our student interns:

• Commute to work

• Pay bills and buy groceries

• Relocate to an internship opportunity

• Assemble a work-ready wardrobe

• Upgrade professional equipment

Give to support our new fund and give more SOJC students the chance to succeed.
