Preparing the Future

Help us unlock a better future for all. Oregon Law prepares students not only to enter the legal profession, but to shape the profession into something better. Today’s law students are being trained to better address marginalized communities, to better confront global challenges, and to better uphold justice for all.

Making the justice system better today and in the future depends on educating the next generation of lawyers. Today on Ducks Give, you have the chance to help ensure that talented, future law students have an excellent legal education grounded in experiential learning.

Real Life Experience

Make a gift today to support law students engaged in experiential learning through our hands-on legal clinics.

Participation in a clinic provides law students with:

  • essential hands-on learning experiences by helping people in the community who cannot afford legal assistance;
  • opportunities to apply legal principles learned in the classroom to real-life problems; and
  • an understanding of the impact their work has on the lives of others.

Through their legal work in clinics, law students work with community members to solve problems and achieve their goals.

  • Help victims of domestic violence regain control over their lives and ensure their safety.
  • Protect the rights of people who are accused of a crime and cannot afford an attorney.
  • Assist local entrepreneurs in realizing their dreams of starting a small business.
  • Strengthen the operations and practices of community-based nonprofit organizations.

Your support enables law ducks to enter the legal world with the confidence and experience needed to drive change.

Thank you!
