Oregon has had a womxn’s ultimate frisbee team since the mid 1980s and has had streaks of success over the past 3 decades. Since then, Fugue has been competitive at Division I Nationals, placing 1st in 2010, 2013 and 2015, 2nd in 2012 and 2014, and 3rd in 2009, 2011 and 2016. Fugue has a history of fielding former USA Junior Worlds’ team members, and is successful at major tournaments year-round such as Stanford Invite and Northwest Challenge. Your contributions help ensure that all students, regardless of financial situation, can participate.
Fugue isn’t just a team, it’s a home. We value respect, support and inclusivity. “Fugue made the transition to college so much better because I found a community of athletes who loved me and pushed me on and off the field,” said one of our first years on the team when asked about how Fugue has benefitted their college experience.
By supporting our team this year, you are helping ensure that all our players can attend Nationals, where we will represent University of Oregon at the highest level of collegiate ultimate frisbee. Because we are a club team, our players coordinate all fundraising efforts in order to reduce individual player costs for jerseys, plane tickets, athletic training, and other costs throughout the season. Your support will make our trip to nationals possible! Thank you so much for supporting our team!
