Oregon Bach Festival (OBF) is a Grammy Award-winning, internationally recognized summer music festival based at the University of Oregon’s School of Music and Dance (SOMD). Celebrated for its commitment to excellence in musical performance and education, the festival offers dozens of professional performances and free events over three weeks. OBF artists also work tirelessly year-round to provide special performance opportunities and Artistic Partner residencies within SOMD.
Chamber Music at Beall (CMB) is a concert series featuring chamber music performances at the SOMD’s Beall Concert Hall during the academic year. This community arts series showcases highly regarded small ensembles that may not typically perform in Eugene, Oregon, due to the area's population size and geographical location. The series also organizes free educational music residencies with the invited ensembles for local K-12 students as well as current UO graduate and undergraduate students.
