About the University of Oregon Duck Dancers
Founded in 2001, the University of Oregon Duck Dancers are a distinguished collegiate dance team operating under the University’s Club Sports Department. Known for their dedication, artistry, and athletic excellence, the Duck Dancers proudly represent the University of Oregon both on and off the stage. Competing annually at the prestigious UDA College Nationals and The College Classic in the elite Division 1A category, the team consistently showcases their commitment to excellence at a national level.
They currently hold the following titles:
Beyond their competitive success, the Duck Dancers are devoted ambassadors of school spirit, actively supporting Ducks Hockey with performances both on the sidelines and on the ice. Additionally, the team engages in extensive community outreach through performances, volunteer initiatives, and appearances at local events throughout the state.
Our Financial Needs
As a 95% self-funded program, the Duck Dancers rely heavily on fundraising efforts and community support to sustain operations and maintain competitive standards. With rising costs associated with travel, performance, and training, the annual operational budget now exceeds $200,000+.
Despite our fundraising efforts, our athletes are still required to pay team dues in order to cover all costs, which can present a financial burden. In our continued effort to make the program more equitable and accessible to all students, we are seeking donations to help reduce this cost barrier.
Support the Duck Dancers
We invite you to support the University of Oregon Dance Team as we strive to uphold our legacy of excellence and broaden our impact both competitively and within the community. Your contribution directly supports our dancers’ development and helps sustain the future of this exceptional program.
Thank you for considering a donation to the Duck Dancers.
