When you donate to the SOJC on Ducks Give, you’re supporting the critical expansion of initiatives that enhance career development, including experiential learning, job shadowing, paid internships, and career prep from our award-winning Undergraduate Student Success Center. Our career and academic advisors offer training, programming and support for career readiness, such as:
- Resume-writing seminars: Students learn how to present their skills, experience, and unique qualities to potential employers to ensure they stand out.
- Job-search boot camps: Students get tips and advice on everything from leveraging LinkedIn to setting up informational interviews.
- Ducks Shadow Ducks: Students spend a day at an organization in their field of interest and are mentored by UO alums and other career professionals.
