The University of Oregon Rowing team, founded in 1967, consistently pushes the envelope for competitive excellence. Known for their resilience, determination, and early mornings, the Oregon Rowers constantly shine bright in both the classroom and on the race course. Calling Dexter Lake their home, the team of 22 men and women are diligent in striving for the goal of bringing home medals come the springtime.
With a limited number of events in a season, every race counts. Oregon Rowing competes along the west coast and across the country, ending in Oak Ridge, Tennessee for their final event, ACRA nationals, competing against Division and Club teams alike. Performing as students, athletes, and leaders of a club on campus, they consistently hold themselves to a high standard and the never ending pursuit of excellence. As a student-run club, Oregon Rowing strives to make the most out of what they have. They rely on donations to help fund travel, lodging, registration for events, coaching, and better equipment.
As a program that runs off of fundraisers and donations we need your support in helping us supplement and sustain our goals of reaching nationals every year. This is an expensive sport for students to pay for. As dues rise with the time, it becomes increasingly difficult for people to come and enjoy our sport. We invite you to help support our Oregon Rowers to help send them to ACRAs and support their athletes' rowing journey each and every season.
